Out of Town

Today I left Skagway by myself. No kids, no husband, just me! I had to leave a day earlier than planned. In southeast Alaska we can never count on the weather. With the forecast I most likely would not have made it out on Thursday. So I took the ferry today to make sure I made my flight out of Juneau. When I planned this trip I was super excited! The closer it got I got sad and worried. I have NO doubt that Andy will do an AMAZING job holding down the fort! I will be missing Easter Sunday, our 8 year anniversary, and Harrison's 7th birthday. I tried to make sure Andy would have everything they would need. One of my thoughts today as I was making the Easter baskets was it is more of a Mom's job to make the sugar cookies, color eggs, and dress the kids in Easter Sunday clothes. I got really sad I would miss it. I hope Andy has fun with it. Please take tons of pictures for me?! Will try to keep you posted on what we are doing apart the next 10 days. Please keep our family in your prayers when we are apart.
